It’s that time of year again! The time where the bonus of warmer weather brings festivals, markets, and eating ice cream outside.
While on vacation back home, my family and I decided to visit a local farmer’s market.

Not only do I appreciate the local fresh vegetables but I adore what the artists have to offer as well. My daughter bought me this charming bouquet and I knew I had to paint it before it stared to fade.

Here is my set up as I tried sketching my treasures. I played classical music in the background and had an enjoyable time creating my own art.
Now, my daughter’s gift will be in my sketchbook forever looking as fresh as ever…even though my peony looks like a rose (lol) it’s okay! I’m not the best flower painter.
I hope you have a chance to enjoy the nice weather where you’re located!
Christine
