I’m grateful to announce that I am the featured artist at the LaGrange Library for the month of January 2010. Many pastel and watercolor paintings are on display. You also can see my collection of sketches from Jan-Dec. 2009 on the wall in the gallery.
The title of the exhibit is called, “Nature in Cook County” as all of the pieced were inspired from this area. It is such an exhilarating feeling to go hiking and be so inspired by something that you have to immediately go home, do some research, and paint it!
What a great life!

Very cool. I’m fortunate that the library system I work for doesn’t mind showing my art & photography (one branch actually seeks me out wayyy in advance–I’ve been scheduled for this coming Aug. since last Nov.–which is very nice.) Good luck with yet another show!
Congratulations!
I’m sure you will secure many other admirers of your work.
That’s great. You will get a lot of people seeing your work at a library.
Thank you all for the wonderful comments!
