60°F sunny, windy
Bullfrog Lake
The sun is warm when the wind stops.
For one second, I get a really sweet smell…but I don’t know what it is or where it is coming from. Then it vanishes. The wind is so strong that the few oak leaves remaining make a sizzle noise. Pssss…sizzzzle.
Two chickadees on the tree tops use their playful voices to interact with each other.
A few lingering leaves swirl down.
Five crows fly right over my head. Four are flying close to each other and one at a distance. One crow “CAWS”, as he touches the one below him in a playful manner.
The wildlife is having fun.
Here is my inspiration at Bullfrog Lake. It is of a dying tree near the water. Notice the abundant twigs growing closer to the base of the tree….this is its fight for life.
Everyone should have a certain fight for life.
I don’t care who you are, you have a God given right for a happy life….For Jesus himself said, “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matt 6:26
Well, are you?
Of course you are, for there is no partiality with God.
Put your trust in God and you can have a happy life, no matter what the situation.
As for the tree don’t worry, for in nature nothing is waisted as many birds rely on such wood. Even in death, its life is valued.
I love to pain treeless trees in winter and dead trees. Your reminder that even dead trees often contribute to new life with their little shoots gives us insiration to be encouraged, and, of course, TO PAINT A TREE!
Wow! I am embarrassed …my post should have read…paint leafless trees.. inspiration not insiration…
I didn’t check my spelling!
Marsha: Thank you! I really love dead trees as well, they have such rich character! Don’t worry about the spelling…I make mistakes constantly 😉
BTW, your watercolor paitnings are beautiful!
Gads, it looks cold…
