It’s 9 PM. I walk to the greenhouse to enjoy the pattering sounds of rain in the dark. Once inside, I notice leaks everywhere. The counters and floors are soaked.
I unfold a chair and stare into nothing. It’s beautifully black outside. The rain on the roof is loud, but not so noisy that I can’t hear my thoughts.
This moment is holy, so I play Gregorian Chants.
I swipe the rain off the counter with my hand and am amazed at how cold the water is…this water that was just hundreds of feet up in the air. It is holy too.
I look down at my hand and steam begins to rise.
Suddenly the rain picks up and the men in robes cannot compete with the sound, so I praise Him even more. Hallelujah.
This is a short video from inside the greenhouse. Now, you’re experiencing it too.

Here is more of a romantic view of the greenhouse at the end of last summer.
Friends,
I hope you can encounter these types of moments…not just see it, but experience it. Envelope yourself in nature.
Love,
Christine
