Vulnerable.
There’s a certain beauty in the unveiling. The wind, like a sculptor, carves here and there. Which leaves shall He choose? The ones that need it first. He knows what He’s doing, to refine and to try. Don’t stop the progress.
Just like an autumn tree reveals its structure, its true character, so do I when I humble myself. I am learning to shed my tough exterior. That appearance of “I got it all together” and submit. I’m letting the Artist do His work.
To shed the excess and nourish the roots.
The beauty in unveiling.

Pretty! I liked the analogy, too.

Beautiful painting, Christine, and it’s nearly eclipsed by your lovely prose-poem and reflection. A superb post!!
